The network has published a bench book on the admission and evaluation of digital evidence, prepared with contributions from appellate and trial judges in six African jurisdictions.
The bench book sets out the questions a court should ask when digital evidence is tendered: authentication of the exhibit, integrity of the chain of custody, hearsay applications to electronically stored information, and the use of expert evidence.
Copies are available to network registries in print and digital formats.
